Required Qualifications and Skills
- Commitment to and support of the mission and vision of Hopkins Roofing
- High School Diploma, required
- Associates Degree, preferred
- Experience with Estimating Edge, required
- Roofing knowledge, preferred
- Computer skills and use of Microsoft Office, preferred
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to perform and understand basic mathematics
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with various departments at Hopkins Roofing
A Typical Work Week
- Identify project labor and materials by studying proposals, blueprints, written specifications, and related documents
- Provide estimates on labor and materials
- Coordinate with sales team members to review estimates before they are presented to the customer
- Coordinate with the operations team to review estimates and verify labor and material cost
- Gather supplier pricing
- Maintain Estimating Edge database
- Attend weekly meetings with the sales manager
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if needed
