The Project Manager is a full-time, salary position responsible for planning and controlling every stage, from pre-construction through completion, of roofing installations or repairs to commercial properties for multiple concurrent construction projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferred
  • Demonstrated effective supervisory skills
  • Ability to motivate and direct the actions of others
  • Experience in project costing and planning
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision
  • Dependable and on time
  • Uses good judgment and works with integrity
  • OSHA 10 certification (training and certification will be provided)
A Typical Work Week
  • Maintain project timelines and budget set with Operations Manager
  • Estimate the time to complete each roofing project and coordinate with teams from varying trades
  • Review architect’s roofing design to plan the sequence of work
  • Work with Operations Manager to determine materials and workforce required for each roofing project
  • Determine materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on material orders and inventory for upcoming and existing projects
  • Identify any practical problems in achieving the planned result and discuss any necessary changes with the Hopkins team, architect, and client
  • Supervise teams and inspect the quality of work to ensure standards are met
  • Prepare and deliver reports detailing the progress of all roofing work
  • Attend weekly production meetings and communicate project updates with the Hopkins team
  • May perform other duties as assigned
