Recently, the team at Hopkins Roofing finished roofing on South Main, a mixed, multi-family development located at the intersection of Peace Street and Main Street at 401 Main Street, Pella, Iowa.
Located between historic neighborhoods and minutes from downtown, Construction Superintendent at South Main, Matt Foster, says South Main is a high-quality, modern housing opportunity for all types of residents.
“The project is the combination of sophisticated modern design and historic awareness for the most distinguished living experience in the heart of Pella,” says Matt. “Working with the team at Hopkins, we were able to get all roofing and sheet metal integrated into one contract, which is a huge benefit to our team.”
To transform the site of an existing closed elementary school into what is now South Main, we partnered with the team at SHYFT Collective, who lead all Design, Construction Management, and Co-Developer services to minimize risk for the investor group.
“Working alongside SHYFT Collective, we were able to complement their management with products and services including TPO, shingles, coping cap, and sheet metal trims,” says Austin Steenhoek, Production Superintendent at Hopkins Roofing. “Together we were able to create something really great for the residents of our community to enjoy.”
